Rise Above are a political and socially motivated band, with Marx inspired
lyrical images,
which is lacking in the music work today. A world where
people would rather 'do it all for the nookie' or the
almighty dollar$sign than to put a message across.
Everything is , at any given moment, itself and something
else.
A does not equal A.
We are in a constant state of flux, always changing.
Which really validates the ineveitable revolution, and
change in society.
The butterfly effect ensure this.
Rise Above terminated on new year of 2001. they are now no more, but a final recording is planned/
