Kittenfreaky is a quirky pop rock art band from LA. fronted by singer/songwriter Cindy Pop (Kelly Mantle Band, Loudboy). This outside-the-box band also features Eleanor Mak, Nurit, Robin Carter and Mary Maglite (aka John Blue of 1000 Pieces and Fuzzy Starf*cker). Any songs listed from the Debut cd feature the original trio which included founding bandmember Viva Krasinski who left the band in the summer of 2001. Any songs listed from the LIVE or MEOW cd are with the new current crew. We are always looking for other bands in the LA area that are mindlike and wacky to share a fun bill with at clubs. You can email us at kittenfreaky@aol.com and request a demo. Photo:Kittenfreaky (from left to right, Cindy Pop, Robin, Nurit, El and Mary) Photo credit: Barnes

Originally this song started out as a tribal beat and spoken word piece. The poem was written as a prayer to someone offering them undying primitive love in this crazy modern world. |
