(Nobles / Hewitt) - Recorded in early 1978 on Jeff Hewitt?s 2-track reel-to-reel in Grandma Hewitt?s living room. This is the first ever Equinox recording. Alan (vocals) and Jim (guitars) had been working on a musical project for a few months and it culminated in this recording with Clyde on drums. After this recording Alan left the band and Clyde stayed. Because of the lack of microphones Clyde laid down several minutes of a straight drum beat which Jim and Alan then played to. Despite wanting to do more with the drum part Clyde was forced to keep a straight, steady beat. Jeff said the song sounded ?like a washing machine? | MP3.com CD: 1978 - 1983 - buy it!
