Wow! Hard to believe it's over a year since "Caught You
Looking" first hit MP3.COM! I have received such wonderful
support from all of you who took the time to write touching letters
and express your appreciation for my music. These letters came
from all over the world, as did a number of my DAM CD sales.
Every single letter is greatly appreciated and kept in a not-so-neat little file.
Sometimes when I need "inspiration", I read them. I cannot believe
that a labor of love accomplished in a tiny basement studio has reached
so many ears! It is wonderful to share this experience with you! I am
currently working on a NEW PROJECT which will be quite different from
this one. It's about half-way finished, and I hope to have at least some
preliminary tracks out before year's end. Once again, I am doing all
instruments, vocals, arranging, producing, and engineering; hence, the
extensive time required to complete my projects. As with "Caught You
Looking", every track of this latest project will be "hand-crafted" to ensure
the best possible sonic experience given the limitations of the (4-track) home
studio (One of these days, I just might break open that billfold and spend
some cash on a bigger board!). It is hoped that my projects will be worth the
wait. I WILL NOT compromise my musical integrity, because I feel the "art"
and "craftmanship" of music come first, in direct contrast to the industry-
standard assembly line mentality so common in popular music today. I LOVE
being an INDIE!! My stuff ain't perfect! In fact, it's even a little "rough around
the edges" in spots...but it's damn honest! I'm just thrilled that people are
taking notice! Anyway, thanks again! If you haven't already done so PLEASE
check out my songs! I put a HELL of a lot of work into them! See you soon!
