Thanks to all those that have pushed Avernus over 14,000 plays! We are in debt to you!
Welcome to the MP3.com website of doom metal band Avernus. This is the American band Avernus and NOT the other band from Norway called Avernus found elsewhere. We hope you will enjoy the songs that you listen to or download. Please feel free to distribute these songs amongst your friends and such. We welcome all feedback so contact us and let us know what you think or sign the guestbook below. The Official Avernus Website can now be found at www.avernusmusic.com. The old site at www.avernus.org is down for an indefinite amount of time, the new site should be up soon. Also, mp3.com has decided to make artists pay to have more than 3 songs available on the site, so we apologize for the missing songs. The songs we've left on here are the newest tunes from last year, and hopefully we have even newer songs up soon. Again we thank you...Avernus

the re-recording of "The Isolationist" includes spoken word intro, extended slightly, and has much better production than the previous version on this site, same recording notes as Dead Mans Eyes & Nobody Lives Forever apply |

A slightly faster, more upbeat song for Avernus, but still quite emotional. Demonstration recording. Recorded in 2001 on 16 track analog. This version features the extended ending, whereas live we typically dont play the extended ending, but we felt it should be included on the recording. Mind you this is demo material. It was NOT recorded in a pro studio. It was mixed roughly and was not mastered, but the sound quality is extremely decent. |
