The
Contemporary Catholic Artists Network (CCAN) is the
largest online network of independent Catholic
artists on the Internet. CCAN was originally
founded by Mark Muretisch in 1995 and transferred
to the present facilitator, Susan Bailey in 1996.
CCAN's intent is to form a viable, proactive
community of Catholic artists who will support one
another with prayers, advice and practical help to
help assuage the frustration and loneliness that
often comes with this challenging vocation. CCAN
focuses its attention mainly on contemporary
Catholic music, that is, music that would
traditionally be performed outside of a liturgical
setting, but liturgical music is also very much
supported in this network. Recently CCAN joined
forces with The Catholic Jukebox and Apostle Music
to provide a more dynamic and user-friendly
website.

Copyright © 1998 Simonetta - From the smooth soprano sax opening of this, the title track from Simonetta's first CD, to the Faith and focus enhancing ending line "Keep your eyes - on - Him", Simonetta has scored a bulls-eye of spiritual thought, beauty and musicality that is truly unique. It's guaranteed that after only one or two listens, you'll be humming this one to yourself all day.
