Artist History
Ben played drums for a Pittsburgh rock band (Saint Syndicate) that Sandi sort of knew. John also played drums for another Pittsburgh rock band (Kisswhistle) that Sandi sort of knew. John and Sandi had many mutual friends but didn't meet up until March 1999. Soon after meeting at the Winterbrief/Kisswhistle show, they started a short-lived 2-guitar pop duo. Sandi had spoken to Ben previously but she and John finally met him "for real" at the Wolfie show in summer 1999. Ben had some songs and asked if John and Sandi knew anyone who'd play pop music with him in pop-unfriendly Pittsburgh. Of course they did! Thus Tourister was formed |
