Artist History
Terry began playing guitar at the age of 9 and has been in various Rock, Jazz and Blues bands since 1965. Terry currently plays bass with The Hash Brown Band in Dallas, Tx. During the late 60's and early 70's Terry played Guitar with the band "Family Tree" based out of Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Later the band changed it's name to "Nyghtgallan" and moved to Seattle were they soon disintegrated. The music the band was performing was heavily influenced by Pink Floyd, King Crimson, and The Moody Blues. They had hours of original recordings mostly of which have disappeared except for a smattering of tapes here and there. Many of the tunes on this page were originally written for a lyric poem written by a friend of the band named Terry Funk. One piece entitled "He-Wolf, She-Wolf" was a love story and included the tunes "He-Wolf", "The Mating" and "Learned Silence", all can be found on this page. Contrast all this with his current profession as Bassist for the Hash Brown Blues Band. "I love playing the Blues but I love writing and listening to Classical music."
