Artist description
"We're like if you are out in the middle of kansas in the middle of rock and roll tour season and Public Enemy's tour bus is coming down one road and AC/DC's bus is coming down another road and The Judds are overhead in an airplane looking down and watching it all, then Tesco Vee comes roaring up on a hog between everybody and they all smash into each other and James Brown comes around afterword and just starts rifling through peoples pockets listening to Houses Of The Holy on a Walkman and wearing a Minor Threat T-shirt, 'cause he's down with Ian. It's just all out rap, rock, punk- everthing." -Slap Magazine |

Artist History
From an MCM interview in American Music Press:"Hector, Gary and I all lived together in the Western Addition. We had kind of a pottery studio. One day someone brought in a guitar from out in the street. We thought we'd like some music to help us with our pottery. Hector started playing, then Gary picked it up too. I had the pottery wheel that had a real funky rhythm to it, so we started rapping and singing along to it." Over the past eleven years MCM and the Monster has performed with The Beastie Boys, Rancid, Sublime, Ice T, Invisble Scratch Piklz, Joan Jett, The Melvins, Social Distortion, Gwar, Cypress Hill, The Dickies, Primus, The Untouchables, Seven Year Bitch, The Dead Milkmen, Limbomaniacs, M.I.R.V., and a bunch we can't remember 'cause we were too drunk. |

"One trip through Collective Emotional Problems is like being cornered in a loud bar by and incredibly obnoxious guy on coke. Worse yet, MCM might actually be proud of that." -SF Weekly |
