Artist History Inverted Core was formed in 1993 when two members from a band called Valiant decided to leave the musical era of the 80's behind them and take their ventures into a heavier realm. Eric McGuire and Chris Owens got together with a power metal guitar great named Tim Porter from a band called Kracken. with Tim's heavy speed metal influence mixed with the more mainstream outlooks of Eric and the Jazzy Funk Drum Grooves of Chris Owens , it was a style to be reckoned with. Early in 1994 Eric McGuire decided to attend The Recording Workshop in Chillicothe Ohio, where he met with , the now present, Bass Basher, Brian Muth. The Circle was then complete... Inverted Core has since been writing and recording a series of new music that is sure to intensify the music scene in Columbus Ohio. They are very close to releasing their first CD- insidEoutfROmtheCenter. They already have a followup record completed following tour support of the first. Look for these guys.. they'll find you...
