Artist History Ikai'ka(Hawaiian for strong, powerful) was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Moved to Chicago at 5 yrs old. Started spinning records in 1985. Moved back to Hawaii, got a mobile , club, and radio mixshow DJ residency. Moved back to Chicago, briefly got into the battle circuit. Started raving, DJing stayed in the basement. Recently a 'born-again' DJ. Started seriously producing tracks in 1997. Now looking positively toward the future to contribute to the scene with music, and make a life of it.
