Artist History Formed in 1993 by Gloria Smith, the Dashboard Messiahs were a garage band that practiced at the "Hen House." They played in clubs in the LA area in 1993 and 1994. They disbanded in 1994 when singer Jennifer Shaw moved to FL. During their short time together, they produced an album, "Not enough gas to make it home." and had a very loyal following.
