    Artist History
Brene started in music at the tender age of 13. With a cheap guitar he got for his 13th birthday and cassette tapes full of ideas, he taught himself to sing and play guitar. With this dedication he adventured out on his own musical journey. Influenced by the likes of such notable bands as Duran Duran, R.E.M, Sade, The Cure, Nirvana, Dave Matthews Band, Live, Seal and even the legendary 60s duo Simon & Garfunkel, he devoted his time into understanding what makes a great pop song stand out. Which has helped him to create his own sound and style, one that can be described as "Mix the catchiness of pop with the rawness of alternative, throw in some acoustic groove then add in Brene's soulfully unique voice, and what you have is something that stands all on it's own with even just a guitar...."

    Press Reviews
"I really dig Mr. Brene Wilson, and his experienced songs and accompaniment stand out. Keep coming back, Brene" - (Scott Birney (The Sin City Band), The Eastend Cafe) ------------------------------------------ "Imagine if Marc Bolan sang Beck's songs, or if Duran Duran didn't (used to) have mighty paychecks and had to borrow Robert Pollard's equipment to record. What you've got is danceable, simple beats, a distinct Synth Pop influence and some effective melodies. (reviewed by Will L. from www.listen.com)"
