Artist description
Grab Creed snatch Bush hook the Deftones shake them up and out pops Big Digit! Dylan, Brad and Richard play their own style of Alternative rock formed in the hot sultry nights of South Georgia. Their debut album "can i say..." blends their hard rockin roots with melodic lead ins and Dylans haunting vocals and heartfelt, lovebashing lyrics. The unmodified Strat crashes and moans seductively, blending seamlessly with Richards intuitive rhythyms and Brads rumbling bass. These three musicians have been playing together for about two years building a strong fan support base in Americus through numerous live shows and television appearances. As good as they sound on the album there is no comparison to the energy created by a live performance Press releases for the group include Albany Herald "Big Digit Rocks first night in Americus" Skateline Magazine "A towns Supergroup release first album |

Group Members
Dylan Tracy - Lead guitarDylan is the lead singer of Big Digit. He's been playing the guitar since he was old enough to hold one. He's also the writer of Big Digit's songs, putting in a lot of personal emotion into each one. The album "Can I Say..." was pounded out over the most of 1999 with the final touches put on the songs in the recording studion in January 2000. Brad Wolfe - Bass guitarBrad has been friends with Dylan and Richard for a long time. His personal music tastes go into a different direction, but he loves tearing into the songs of Big Digit. The song "Polekiller" which features a bass solo by Brad gets its name from an incident in which a telephone pole met its untimely death courtesy of Brad. Richard Gordon - DrumsRichard is the most stable personality among Big Digit's members. He probably benefits from getting out a LOT of frustration on the drums. Richard's style of playing has been described as "machine gun," but he also knows how to put the light touch on as well. Richard also plays for his high school band. GO AMERICUS TRAVELERS |
