Artist description
Young Bay Area band with their debut self release "Expect The Worst." The first pressing of only 500 came out and sold out in a couple months. Their 2nd self release CD "SEE THROUGH THESE EYES" sold their limited supply of 1000 quickly as well. If you haven't heard of this band before they can only be described as heavy, dark, fast, unpredictably sporadic and tight. They are trying to eliminate the standard use of verse/chorus and instead NEVER REPEAT any parts. Lots of painful high pitched screaming, burly growls, brutal blasts, heavy apocalyptic sections, dark calmness, all coming together to form a single body. Influences sounds like elements of Anal Cunt, Eldopa, Dystopia, Grimple, Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, even Beethoven. Their sound is driven even deeper by their subsonic tuning and octave changes. I don't know what style you can call this-metal core, grindcore, death metal, sludge, crust punk, hardcore, goregrind................maybe sporadicor |

Press Reviews
"If I were to name 3 bands who I consider to be the most
promising and worth keeping an eye on, Antagony would be the first
band I'd think of. They are that damn good, and this album is
perfect in so many ways. The breakdowns, the timing, the
double-bass, the complete blitzkrieg on grinding death…I can't
help but fathom this album being any better. "
