Artist History
Started buying 12" dance music in 1986. Grew up on a cerebral stew of Disco, Funk, Jazz, HIP-HOP (notice I said Hip-Hop, not that K-RAP that everybody listens to nowaday!) New Wave, New Age or "Ambient", Classical, Industrial, Punk and Alternative and my favorite two styles, Electro and ACID! In 1987 My mother helped me out by buying my first Synth, a Korg DW-8000. Yippee!! After I got a job at a local music store, I purchased my first sampler. Ensoniq EPS. From there I started recording music and buying more gear. My favorite thing is to play live, so everything is recorded live and on the fly and usually at parties. Hence the not so great sound quality of some of the tracks. It has always been my goal to play music that I would love to hear if I had the chance to cruise the galaxy. And at the same time I feel that music can "elevate the mind, body and most importantly the soul. So the album name, Elevator Music is just that. Meant to elevate you and me to another place! Peace:) |
