Artist History Wyse was born in the spring of 1996, after numerous meetings to start a Rock group. While "WYSE" was slowly coming to life, we were asked to perform publicly for the St-John the Baptist celebration. During that show on 24 June 1996, the audience could feel a certain magic coming from "WYSE". In a matter of a few months, at the rate of one practice session per week, we gained enough confidence to start composing our own music. Soon after, we had created enough songs to think of realizing our dream of making WYSE's first Album. Our CD came out in May 96 and has been circulated around. Lately, we have further improved our sound system and we look forward to more investments in "WYSE". We hope our efforts will bear fruits and that 1998 will see more of our dreams become reality.

Group Members YANNICK GUÉRIN (guitar, vocal);In music since age 12. Started guitar at secondary school level during music courses. Apprenticeship with brother Éric, who now holds a bachelor's degree in music (guitar). After working with a few groups, yannick joins his brother Éric, and three others, Serge and Steeve, and his music teacher. Quickly acquires self confidence and experience, then founds ''WYSE'', with Serge et Steeve.STEEVE LAVOIE (bass guitar); Started muisic at age 15. Took first courses in music at CEGEP de Chicoutimi. Started in first group with Serge, then with some ten others. After that, attended further courses at Ecole de musique Richard Gendreau, in Québec City. Now works part time as freelance musician. SERGE SAVARD (Drums);Involved in music since age 14. Became drummer on his own, after seeing performance by "KISS". Soon after, acquires his own drum set and join his oncle's group. Later on, Steeve also joins. Stays with that group for 8 years. Works with other groups, and then takes a year off. Finally goes with Steeve & Yannick to play music in dance halls and bars.
