Artist description
We started as a Cognito cover band (For those who've been asleep like the last 20 years, Cognito is the great '70s champion of acid disco-rock). But see, then we decided one afternoon that like we had our own sets of neurological workings and that it was time to start performing our own material. Besides, how many freakin' Cognito cover bands must litter the planet before something new and original comes out. So here we are: the nexxxt wave. |

Artist History
Formed in Lockport, IL, in LTHS - Central room 401, the band had been on hiatus for a while, but is back in full force. In June, we'll be releasing our third album, which is yet untitled and going on tour. This will be our third tour. Our first tour occured entirely over the phone and ended with a gig at the Treehouse Lounge in Bloomington, Ill., and our second tour was the Cleveland Travel Lodge tour of late 1999. |
