Artist History
We got our name back in '97 when me and my brother got back from a big party. Well, anyway, I took my socks which happened to be black... and lo and behold, black lint all over my feet. "Hah, Black Lint rules," I said. Then it struck my brother, "That's it! That will be our band's name: 'Black Lint'!"We never actually got the band put together till around April of the next year when we found out about a Battle of the Bands competition. So we started the band and practiced in our basement. We didn't win, but it was sure fun. We performed "Never See My Face," "The Beach Song," and the Chicago's tune "25 or 6 to 4."The band kept making more songs after that and we improved a lot so we blew all our money on making an album that summer with Tesco Productions. Eventually some of us went to college and went our separate ways, but we're planning on getting together again to jam and make more songs. |
