    Artist History
The BeatlesS was formed in Raleigh, NC 1986 (or so) as an(basically) performance noise group (it was for a performance in a theater at NC State University). Anyway, the group went through several iterations of styles and musicians, and called it quits in 1998. At various times of its history, the Beatless had anywhere from three to eleven members in it, and consisted of mainly live banging percussion brigades to all-out sonic noise factories. Somewhere midway through their life, and through to the end of their life (and as presented here), the Beatless became more song oriented, with the songs on the 'Love Your Parents' CD a great 'studio' style recording representation. Other pieces of the Beatless's long career continue to surface, as the 'Basement Audio' CD proves. So, with a variety of songs, tracks, noises, and spastic accomplishments, the Beatless's legacy lives on somehow. And we say 'HI!' to all the other Beatless bands out there! You should all be more like us - just make a lot of noise, a few songs, and make people scratch their heads and say 'Huh?' :-)

    Press Reviews
Somebody a while back wrote the following about us: "A blender full of sounds and interludes which crescendo into digital mayhem... Caustically challenging music." And Howard Wuelfing of Your Flesh Magazine (issue 38, May 1998) REALLY HATED us! His review of our 'Love Your Parents' CD was one of the most critical, spiteful, misinformed, and off-the-mark reviews of a CD that I have ever read! Wow - glad we elicited that kind of response from him. I hope he's taking his medicine more regularly now! One day, I'll post the review.
