Artist description
LinZ, formerly with AxonConflict has started a new project. She will now be recording under the name "Divergence". The song you will hear, "Stagnant States" was co-written and performed with former bandmate Blake Kirsten. At the time of it's recording, LinZ was 17, and Blake 18 respectively. Although no longer performing together, LinZ and Blake remain friends and she wishes him the very best in all his future musical endeavors. A formidable talent in his own right, we are sure he will go far. |

Artist History
Lin-Z was born in Miami, April, 1983. She has spent most of her life in South and Central Florida before moving to Atlanta in 1996. She has been musical from a very young age, first starting piano lessons at five, moving to guitar at twelve, and back to keyboards, (which she considers her main instrument), at thirteen. Soon she had expanded into singing and songwriting, and tried out several musical collaborations(see www.mp3.com/RetinalFetish) before teaming up with Blake about 2 years ago to form Axon Conflict. Passionate about her music, LinZ has been known to discard an entire work and start from scratch because she felt something was lacking in the finished product. It is not unusual for her to write several versions of the same song before deciding on a final recording. She always trusts her instincts and will not be swayed from her unwavering perfectionism, a trait she hopes will earn her the respect of her musical peers, which she considers the truest form of success. |
