Artist History Powerplay might be the first solo-CD that skin beater Ernst van Ee launches, but it certainly is not his first piece of work. Ernst plays drums for more than twenty years, has been and still is the driving force behind the successful Dutch hard rock bands Highway Chile, Threnody and Helloïse. As a freelance session drummer he recorded several albums with Hungarian guitar wizard Tamas Szekeres and famous Dutch bands such as Ayreon, Ian Parry and Peter Magnee. Further he toured with artists like Misha Calvin, Tamas, Ian Parry and Vengeance and was voted best Dutch rock drummer more than once.
