Artist History Tim Davies moved to Los Angeles from Australia in September 1998 to follow his dream of working as a big band arranger and leading his own band. As well as leading his own Big Band, Tim works as an orchestrater for John Clayton and the Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra. He also writes concert music, most recently a Marimba concerto and a new work for solo cello.

Group Members The band on these recordings is my Australian band which was formed in May 1998. As I now live in Los Angeles, the drive to rehearsals was a bit much so I formed another band here in LA. The band debuted at Catalina's in Hollywood in May of 2000. The gig was a big success and the band will be back at Catalina's on Tuesday, August 20. I have also written several new pieces that will be premiered at the show.
