Artist description we're a 3 piece (occasionally 4...and sometimes 5 but mainly 3 though this one time we had only 2, it was an instrumental show) Cat plays guitar, A.Laska plays guitar, and J.Charles plays guitar. though we occasionally play different instruments too. like drums. and bass. one someone played one of those moogs, that was pretty neat. we don't have that moog anymore we had to sell it to pay for something. i think it was a fish tank or something like that. it was pretty expensive.

Music Style euro techno dance pop with some rockabilly.

Musical Influences booddah velvets, our man flint, abba, my mom's boyfriend's band, they're pretty good.

Artist History A.Laska and J.Charles lived in the same co-op downtown. J.Charles met Cherry while working at a Del Taco on west 35th street. she wanted something with soy in it so they all formed a band called "soy" there were some other members in there too, but we don't remember their names. except for this guy named todd. that guy was funny. and gay. boy was he gay. but that is another story all together. well, after several different incarnations we finally came to the point where we needed a better name. so we came up with "the 90's pop sensation" i think it should be "the 90's pop sensations" with an s at the end but no one else thought so, so i guess that's okay.

Group Members A.Laska is the oldest of the group and he's a handsome devil(for the ladies). we never really talk to him so he is a bit of a mystery, though he has hinted that his grandfather was a nazi conspirator. he wouldn't even watch apt pupil with us. he reads baudrillard. Cherry is the lady of the group (don't worry we don't let her drive) she's got shirts on her car seats and a friend named Natasha. J.Charles is yea tall. he just got a hair cut from this guy named Leo. Leo is pretty cool. he was in a band. he plays guitar. one time we caught him playing a sting song. that was funny

Instruments we use just about every instrument we get our hands on (well not for A.Laska, he was born missing both arms. he's a pretty positive guy though. he's really optimistic), though not all at once, except for a few songs. actually no we never really play that many instruments at the same time.
