Artist History
Casey Lindstrom was the moving force, founder, songwriter, lead guitar & vocals for THE NEW MODELS whose major hit record "Sight and Sound" was produced by Ric Ocasik; THE NEW MODELS were also one of the first MTV video bands. Along with working with Ric Ocasik in the studio, Casey was also Ric's lead guitar player on the "Beatitude Tour". In 1986 Casey joined with Jesse Mayer from the national act FINGERPAINT [whose other band credits include: CAGED HEAT, MDM, BLACK MARKET MEDALIONS, DOWNCHILD and THE SIPHLOIDS] and with Todd Erickson [STILL MISSING, FREERIDER, and a ranked motor cross rider]. SHAKE THE FAITH has played with THE REPLACEMENTS, MOTHER LOVE BONE [later to become PEARL JAM], SOUL ASYLUM, and was one of the first bands in the US to cross the line between PUNK & METAL. |
