Artist History
The journey began in 1979, with a friend, a flute, a Yamaha CS-5, and a home made sequencer. We made regular contributions in that configuration to the "Radiola Improvisatie Salon". This was a program on a Dutch radio station, featuring home recordists, in the late seventies and early eighties. No musical output at all between 1982 and 1994. When I started making music again, this time solo, much had changed. Digital synths, MIDI, composition software... So much to learn. My little home studio is built around a hardware sequencer, the Yamaha QY700. No computers are used. I try to keep the amount of equipment small. I'm prone to bouts of Gear Acquisition Syndrome, but I think I have it under control now.
WANTED: Acoustic soloist. I would like to record tracks which feature an acoustic instrument. If you (1) like this music style, (2) live in Los Angeles or nearby, (3) play a flute, clarinet, violin, or other portable acoustic instrument, and (4) would like to spend a weekend or two jamming in my little home studio, please drop me a line.
