Artist description
Paje' is a musical project in progress. Based in the Portland, Oregon area, Paje' is an acronym for Post Apocalyptic Jazz Ensemble and also means shaman in Portuguese. Being a 'work in progress' it is difficult to classify the genres which the music of Paje' encompasses... That being said, I imagine that as the compilations progress, someplace where technical fusion, ambient, trip-hop, alternative, progressive, new age, and folk intersect - you'll hear the openly-harmonic, perchance pristinely-dissonant, rhythmically complex and hypnotic sounds of Paje'. (& I hope you get those tweaked papillae when you do!) ;), Scott |
