Artist History
Formed in the spring of 98’ omni chord is the combined talent of four hard working Vancouver boys. Skilled song writing and killer performances are the main focus, with influences ranging from Elvis Costello to The Jon Spenser Blues Explosion. Tim Smyth’s off beat and introspective lyrics are backed by his soulful vocal delivery and driving bass grooves. While John pounds out solid rhythms and Sean and Brendan rip it up, enforcing tasteful guitar playing. While members have supported the likes of Bif Naked, Econoline Crush and Bloomsday, omni chord has spent the time crafting the “The greatest songs ever” for the general public. No need for approval though, these songs sell them self. omni chord also has the additional support of producer Mark Hensley (Four Non Blondes, Third Eye Blind and Juno Nominees, Mythos.) Currently licensed to Spark Records inc., they are promoting their newest demo release entitled “THE SOUND TRACK TO THE GREATEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE” . |
