Artist History Luis "El Terror" Dias is one of the Dominican Republic's most prolific composers. His music has influenced all branches of Dominican popular music, from merengue, bachata to rock music.An avid investigator of Dominican culture and roots, he has used his knowledge of its rhythms and chants to create a unique blend.In performance, Luis' raw energy and charisma captivate his listener whom he invites to explore the rhythmn within. He performs in various encarnations in duos, backed by percussionists, a capella, and with Transporte Urbano, the band that backed him during the 80's and early 90's. His latest backup band is called "La Victoria"
