Artist description Electrifying, high-energy, enthusiastic dynamic vocals with round about country sound is Cindy Lou. Cindy Lou was born and raised in Hamden, Connecticut where she began at the age of seventeen to express interest in country music. At that time Cindy began singing and structuring her vocals for a musical future. At the age of eighteen Cindy began performing at clubs, festivals and many other events. Cindy has performed with many very popular New England based bands such as Crossroads, Higher Ground, Stone Canyon, Square One and many others. She and four other very talented Musicians now have their own band called “Cactus Creek”. Through the years Cindy has also been featured in many New England publications as well as appearances on local Connecticut Television. Cindy was also the featured artist at the “Black Mountain Balloon Festival” in Cave Creek, Arizona in March of 1998. At this time Cindy resides in East Haven, Connecticut along with her husband Bill. There, Cindy continues to have support in all her music decisions from family, friends and her local fan base as well. In Sept., 1999, Cindy went back to Tennessee for her second project. This time with Jim Frazier of One Night Dream Music in Nashville, Tennessee. Jim Frazier, Cindy's producer, sees great potential in Cindy's gravely, bluesy, country kind of sound. Cindy has a look and style all her own. Cindy, along with Frazier worked diligently and carefully at choosing the appropriate songs for her latest project. Cindy 's song selection was chosen due to the styles and stories that each song possessed. "Some happy, some sad, some are hard, and some are kind. They all tell alittle bit about me", is exactly quoted by Cindy in making her decisions in choosing her song selections. She now has a total of sixteen recordings with more on the way. Cindy's goals for the future are to obtain and achieve a record deal with a strong desire to be creative in order to inspire interests along with the motivation to continue workingand recording as a vocal artist and entertainer. Cindy Lou possesses the ambition, enthusiasm and drive to reach the stars in the years to come. A dynamic entertainer, aspiring vocals with a smooth bluesy, country sound inspired by Patsy Cline, Tanya Tucker, and Patty Loveless; with these influential greats, Cindy could never go wrong.
