Artist History
Luciftias began its formal existence in March XXXV A.S. (2000), having been created by J. Beers (also known as Lord Akhkharu of the black metal band Vukodlak) with inspiration from such uncompromising sonic artists as Boyd Rice (NON), Michael Moynihan (Blood Axis), and Varg Vikernes (Burzum) as well as various concepts presented in the writings of the late Anton Szandor LaVey. The first Luciftias recordings were eventually released in the form of the "Suspension of Disbelief" album via Mp3.com in July XXXVI (2001). Luciftias has appeared on a compilation from Dotdotdot Records (Ireland) and has gotten favorable reviews from such places as Sublevel 203. |

Press Reviews
"Organic sounds and understated voices tend to give the music a ritualistic feel on occasion, while at other times tracks become so spine-chilling they send prickly shivers up the back of the arms. Lucifitas succeeds at making the listener experience a mixture of strong sensations, sometimes gentle but turns threatening in the next instant." - Sublevel203.com |
