Music Style eccentric pop

Artist History gray started the 99cent dream project in the fall of 1998 after moving to new york city from his home state of north carolina. frustrated with not meeting anyone that was interested in music at art school, gray decieded to start his own bedroom 4 track project. a few months later, the first 99cent dream record was finished called 99cent dream and self released by gray on a very limited cd. gray had begun working on a follow up to his debut, and just a few months after the release 99cent dream, 99cent dream II was finished. by that time gray had founded a bouncing space records on which II came out as a cassette in march of 1999. gray then took a break from 99cent dream to concentrate on an acoustic project called "gessy" that came out on cassette for a boucing space in the summer of 1999. since the release of II, 99cent dream has only released a handfull of songs for compilations and an ep of unreleased material, but gray has been working very hard to take 99cent dream to the next level for well over a year. a full lenth cassette release is planned for the fall of 2000 for best kept secret records. gray has just started the hottest demo of the season online project where new songs are transmitted directly to the web from the studio at the moment of completion.
