Artist description The sound of this music is a deep electronic fusion of modern classical and jazzy keyboards recorded on top of dancable deep house tracks and lounge beats... The name "the lonely orchestra" does not imply that the artists are sad and lonely but that the artists create all the different tracks seperately in a personal digital studio. We also bring musicians in one or two at a time to record onto the computer hard disk recording system. We use a high end computer and the trusted keyboard workstation, Kurzweil K2500, in conjunction with many instruments and a few studio musicians... All arrangement, final editing and production was performed on many versions of Cubase software over the years..I have just discovered Reason and may sell my k2500 and replace it with a controller. Software synths are sounding better than ever.Now we are currently using Nuendo by Steinberg and really recommend it over pro-tools. I remember starting out on a 486dx 66mhz, K2000, cubase and a portable dat recorder. Now things are more complicated than ever and the potential is limitless, but I hope that the music will continue to evolve with the technology. We are trying to use more organic sounds with clean digital production equipment and enviroment. I hope you enjoy the tunes and please keep in mind that each song is from a different date and time. If you do not like one track you just may really like the next. All the tracks are diverse and unique. We are glad to be a part of this artistic musical Renaissance.
