    Artist History
Despite contradictory reports, Eric Pavone is rumored to be not from the star system Delta Pavonis, but rather from just outside the small town of Plattsburgh, NY. Finishing high school in 1995, he attended Clarkson University for computer science but ended up playing guitar and tracking music on his computer more than completing his programming assignments. So after a year at Clarkson, he decided to leave so he could delve more into the constant music in his head. By the summer of 1998, the first Solitary Muse album was released as Planet of Your Own. A compilation of sorts, the release contained works varying from new age/orchestral to dark electronica, as well as instrumental guitar work. Before the Fall of that year, Eric relocated to the opposite coast to attend Musicians Institute in good ol' Hollyweird, CA. It is here that he completed work on two albums: the Delta Pavonis Chronicles and Worlds of Old. After graduating MI, Eric was hired by sound studio Riptide Music. At Riptide Eric worked on music and sound design for television and video games, including Sony Underground Magazine as well as Activision's X-Men Mutant Academy for the Sony Playstation (all guitar insanity and most end game sequences). While enlightening in many ways, this side of the industry proved to be less in touch with Eric's creative and spiritual perspectives on music. By the end of 2000, Eric decided to vacate the odd premises of Hollywood and relocated to West Los Angeles. Shortly after, he left Riptide to further pursue his more personal creative madness, and subsequently released a new Solitary Muse album entitled "Droplets". Most recently, Eric has convinced the game developer Treyarch that he is of sound mind and now works there as a game designer, where he is currently offering his deranged mental resources in contribution to their latest games.
