Artist description Michael Armenta is a composer of modern music in Classical Styles. Michael Armenta is also a member of the legendary, critically acclaimed Arizona Punk Rock and Youth Ink Records recording artists MALIGNUS YOUTH, former Musical Director of Northern Arizona's only Children's Musical Theater Company MAGIC CURTAIN PRODUCTIONS, and current Musical Director of the PINEWOOD PLAYHOUSE an up and coming Northern Arizona Theater Company. Michael Armenta, as solo artist, as part of MALIGNUS YOUTH and with other bands, has played or collaberated with BLOOD SPASM, BAD RELIGION, THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES, FEAR, LAUNDRY (featuring ex-PRIMUS drummer "Herb" Alexander), THE OFFSPRING, GREEN DAY, D.R.I., THE MISFITS, ALL, THE SHIRELLES, MARK GROWDEN'S ELECTRIC PINATA, CITIZEN FISH, and NO MEANS NO. As Musical Director for MAGIC CURTAIN PRODUCTIONS, Michael Armenta has directed productions of "BYE BYE BIRDIE", "SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS", and "TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON" and the chldren's comedy "THE TRIAL OF GOLDILOCKS". As part of the PINEWOOD PLAYERS, Michael Armenta has directed productions of the comedy "ACTS" and Neil Simon's "RUMORS". Michael Armenta also holder of a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and is an Elementary School Teacher.
