Ken Soltys is a solo recording/performing artist. Ken often utilizes local musicians and Church musicians in performing at festivals, events or Church services. When Ken performs at Church services or events, one can witness the spontaneous, prophetic Praise, Worship and Spiritual Compositions. Music being composed as you hear it! During performances or services, Ken will sing and play a variety of instruments including; trumpets, flugelhorn, keyboards, guitar, sequencers, etc....Due to the nature of his performances and presentation, no two performances are quite the same. |

Artist History
Ken Soltys’ versatility as a musician, composer, producer, performer and recording artist has been influencing the music industry for over twenty years. His music is a transparent view into his heart and soul that features his trumpet, voice, keyboard and guitar.
The trumpet is considered a highlight of Ken’s music. He utilizes the instrument to create an atmosphere of power, beauty and intensity that is combined with his compositions and arrangements. The relationship between his various abilities brings the listener into a unique personal musical experience. Ken’s skillful talent has been experienced on six continents. His sound and music has touched countries such as Brazil, Columbia, Australia, Russia, Germany, England, Holland, Czech Republic, Kenya, Mexico and the United States.
Ken embarked on his professional career in the early 1980’s touring with various show groups out of Cleveland and Las Vegas. In 1983, he returned to his native New York where he appeared with such artists as James Brown, The Spinners, Gary U.S. Bonds and others. Ken moved to Nashville in 1986 and became involved in drug abuse prevention shows that included performing and writing with Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers. In 1991, Ken released his first CD, "There is a Power", on the Power Life Record label based in Nashville. Moving to Miami in 1993, Ken became involved in Church music and became Musical Director for R&B great, Wayne Cochran. In 1997, Ken founded the Miami Music Group International and began concentrating on Internet promotion. In 2000, Ken had 10 solo releases on Internet sites, 12 total with other MMGI artists and well over 230,000 listens and downloads. Ken’s, "Gospel Groove" held #1 on mp3.com’s General Jazz Charts for over three consecutive weeks. "Over and Over Again", scored #1 for the same amount of time on the Groove Charts. All total, Ken and MMGI had 7 #1 hits in 7 different genres during 2000. In December of 2000, Ken scored his first major hits with his release of "Jingle Bells", #4 on all of MP3.COM and "O Holy Night" #17 MP3.COM, #18 Billboard’s Web Hits. Also, in the final week of 2000, Ken was the #1 Pop/Rock, #1 Easy Listening and #5 Overall artist on Australia’s Digital Music Charts.
