Artist History
Fire and Rain is a mother-daughter duet consisting of Susan and Meredith Bailey. Fire and Rain's specialty is upbeat and hopeful spiritual music enjoyed by children and adults alike. All of Fire and Rain's music is original, composed by Susan Bailey. The melodies are catchy and the lyrics thoughtful and heartfelt. Meredith, currently 12, has a pure and simple child-like voice that penetrates right to the heart; her mother Susan has a voice likened to Linda Ronstadt and Karen Carpenter. Three of Fire and Rain's songs have been consistently in the top 20 in Spiritual Children's on MP3.com since their introduction in Feb. 2000. with two of them (Come Holy Spirit and Teach Me to Love) hitting and remaining at #1 for over 2 weeks each. Fire and Rain has a sampler out entitled "Sing Your Praise"; these songs are also available on Susan's own album, "Teach Me to Love"; these albums were produced by Ron Zabrocki, a seasoned veteran NY producer. |

From Cynthia Anderson: "First reaction - wow! Second reaction - beautiful. Third reaction - inspiring! Very proactive. Very walk the talk."; from George Leite of the Worcester-based band, 1 Body: "The band gave it a big 6 thumbs up . . . our drummer really wants to do thesong that was the prayer to the Holy Spirit (aka "Come Holy Spirit"); and from Paul J. Walstad, Sr. : Ò(Susan)'s voice is absolutely perfect on "Teach Me to Love" . . . this song gets me completely!" |
