Artist description
Dan McLaughlin is a singer/songwriter from the "great midwest". The song writing style of Dan McLaughlin can best be described as a mix of Rock, Pop, Blues and Country. This is due to the variety of musical influences such as The Beatles and Allman Brothers as a boy, Kiss and Aerosmith as a teenager, The Clash, REM and Neil Young in college and everything else in between. The songs on the "Hey Day" CD are really an experiment. The entire "Hey Day" CD was recorded on a PC using Cakewalk Home Studio 9 and Band In The Box Software. Dan sings and plays guitars and bass. In short the experiment has been very successful. Listen to the songs and let me know what you think!!! |
