Artist History
Out of an early 80's suburban Plymouth garage and after tinkeringwith backwards/forwards experimentation, the band that would beChristopher Tree (after a Les Blank film) settled on thehardcore-country-with-a-zest-pop formula that would seethem (on & off) through the decade. Becalmed by thenineties, the Tree revived after a trawl across California ledindirectly to the Sea of Plastic LP 'Artichoke Centre of theWorld', a free form, narrative driven document of mildexcess and lovely photos. |
