Artist description Carol was raised in a small beach town south of Santa Cruz, CA. She wrote her first song on the guitar at age ten and hasn't stopped since. After performing in several bands and being an active member in the Northern California Songwriters' Association, she decided to make the move to Nashville. Still hanging in there on that songwriter's rollercoaster ride, she's had numerous indie cuts and released her own project, "Telling Me Something". Last October, Mary Chapin Carpenter presented Carol and her co-writer, Diona Devincenzi, with the ASCAP Foundation/Lilith Fair grand prize award for their song, "Airplane Light".
