Artist History
Buddy harkens back to the days of us at Herndon High School in Herndon, Va (in the 60s), and who approached me this past December for this project. He requested my help on producing these cuts, and although only 3 songs for now (Update: it's now a 10 song CD), he shows talent, composure and a brutal honesty in his music and voice that transcend the "polished" attitude of today's cookie cutter music. He deserves a listen, and I think you'll be glad you did. Certainly he's been marked for something better as Red Shipley of Stained Glass Bluegrass (DC local station WAMU 88.9 mHz, syndicated) has Buddy scheduled for feature playings Sunday mornings. If you haven't heard any of Buddy's tunes there, be sure to call and request them. |
