Artist description
AZuR, pronounced (As You Are), is a group of contemporary Christian artists who joined together to form a band which would enable them to share their faith through music. The band is made up of three members who reside in Lexington, Ky. Their music style is very diverse, ranging from smooth jazz, to pop rock, to rockabilly. AZuR has won numerous awards for songwriting. |

Artist History
1997 and 1998 were giant steps for AZuR. In 1997 AZuR were regional finalists in the Gospel Music Association Spotlight and Song of 97 contest. That same year they won song of the year for the Ultimate Talent Search sponsored by Embassy Music and have had the single's "His Love Still Reaches" and "Love of God" debut on National Christian Radio. In 1998 they won the Atlanta region GMA Song of 98 competition with their song "Take Me". They performed at Dove Week in Nashville, TN playing before music industry professionals. They were also winners in the Billboard Magazine Song Contest and placed 1st at Estes Park Christian Artist Seminar for songwriting. |
