Artist History (untitled) was started in 1997 for a high school talent contest. At the talent contest, (untitled) performed the song "Generation", which is on the independent release "Self-Titled." After this, the then members of (untitled); Erik Tweedt, Cathy Honigman, Matt Collins and Ed Waldmire decided to stay together. From this point (untitled) started writing songs and playing gigs. At first the playlist often included cover songs, but those quickly disappeared as the band wrote more songs. At some point, the decision was made that the band would work best as a three piece, and the band then consisted of Cathy doing guitar/vocals, Matt playing bass, and Ed on drums. Now as a trio, (untitled) released a self-produced/released CD in early 1999 called "Self-titled." In August of 1999, the members of (untitled) all went to college. Ed and Cathy went to school in Champaign, IL and Matt stayed in Springfield and later transferred to Macomb, IL. Since then (untitled) has somewhat unoffically called it quits.
