Artist History 11x: Evan Burroughs [d.o.b. 6-4-1957, Encino, CA.] Played piano since age 7. First guitar: age 11 (a Telecaster copy.) First synthesizer: age 16 (Moog). # of bands (fusion to punk) 1971-1978: Nine. Evan created 11x in 1999 as an outlet for his photography, artwork, and music. He joined ASCAP in late March, 2000. Evan was awarded Grand Prize in Sonic Foundry's Hangmen3 remix contest in November of 2001. In Spring of 2001, he returned to college to study art, specifically painting.
