Artist description
Ranging in influences, SFH3 has invited comparisons to bands such as Tool, Can, The The, the Church, The Cure, Pink Floyd, and many other bands; some of which we don't really listen to. People always say "it's like a cross between..." or "____ meets ____". Listen for yourself and e-mail me what you think we sound like. |

Artist History
Formed in 1998 at the suggestion of our first drummer James Aceves, SFH3 started without any particular decision as to what "kind" of band we would be forming. This eventually led to small doses of drone and experimentalism in the early days, and closer to odd time signature noise/art/progressive experimentalism lately. James left the band in 2001, to be followed with Byron H. Diel on drums, lending a more funky/jazzy element to our playing. His style also has increased the unpredicatble nature of our live shows. |

Press Reviews
"Go see this band for an ethereal, metaphysical trip. Space-age drone meets D&D. Imagine riding alone aboard a space probe with the complete works of HP Lovecraft. Definitely see these guys for their ingenuity."
"really creative, should see these guys live.better than most noise pop i hear"
