Artist History Formerly known as Sunday Crush, Vortex 479 has been in the making since gabe and gerard jammed together as middle-schoolers...gabe met cies through mutual friends in the summer of 1998 and the two got together now and then for an informal jam session...in february 2000 gerard, leaving the jailbait girls that want him behind,(hehe j/k!) joined as the drummer and cies took on the role of bassist along with lead vocal duties officially making them a full-fledged band...though cies now resides across the country, the band still maintains a long distance relationship :).
