Artist description
Should it be said, " The Beast" with its winding lines and mesmerizing manner be set in the forefront of conversation. A song of mistrust of love itself, the need to embrace but the fear of fire, or hurt shall we say. "Hollowpoint" is a chronicle, a document of songs written and memorized by Randy Snyder over a period of 10 years through good times and bad ,through love and loneliness. It has an ere, wooden sound that makes it hard to label as any type of music. The songs, although influenced by Jethro Tull, Styxand acoustic Led Zeppelin have a sound of their own. Its the sound of my soul and the beat of my heart, I hope you can relate to the words and enjoy the music. Burning tears is another favorite, I tuned my guitar a little differently for this one, giving it that mystical sound, and "caught in the black lace" has a nice little edge to it that puts a bite in the neck of love and all its entrapments. The CD definitely has got to be played when the listener is in the right mood. Weather it be studied, or background music, I'm sure a line or two will resemble a thought or experianceof your own. Presently I am relocated in the west coast ,playing little town bars an nightclubs in Larkspur,Fairfax ,San Francisco area...you could even catch me in the town square of Bolines competing with the ocean waves, a far cry from the Ithaca New York area where I had been performing. Enjoy! Randy |
