Music Style song oriented works of sound

Artist History Mike Allen has been making music in Atlanta for more than 12 years with acts such as Sik Dik, the impotent sea snakes (both of which included NIN/GNR guitarist robin finck), the Goodies!, and universal overdose. Widely known for his percussive prowess, Mike's fluent abilities with other instruments have never been a priority he chose to bring to the forefront of his performances. After a much needed break from music during most of '98, Mike began sessions for his first solo release. Recorded during the fall/winter of '98 and parts of '99, "selected compositions" features songs written and performed by Mike. Guests include Angelique Broyles and guitarist/engineer Bruce Butkovich (universal overdose).
