Artist description A new artist in the music scene, Lorne Yed infuses progressive sounds and lyrics into a satisfying result. Influenced by many musicians in and out of the pop genre, Lorne's sonic pallette explores life and relationships within an ever-changing world. His first CD release, "Timepeace", was completely written, performed and recorded on his own.

Artist History Lorne Yed was born and raised in Calgary, Canada. Lorne's musical interest developed during junior high school and evolved into performing nationally in various classical and jazz ensembles. Evolution into alternative music began when Lorne was a member of Banood, an experimental pop band founded in high school. Lorne Yed continued to explore various genres of music with other groups for several years. His debut CD, "Timepeace", was completed in 1999. Lorne currently resides in Portland, Oregon, U.S.A.
