Artist description Does anyone really pay so much attention to this point.. I mean in general people who try to describe music in words fail miserably, it's next to impossible to get even a vague description of a band through the written word anyways. Artist History When I was young I used to listen to frank mills and a lot of piano music..I stopped listening to music for a little while.. Then I took a trip to scotland, where my cousin introduced me to hip-hop(pharside) and punk(dk..etc) I came back addicted to music.. Later my friend nathan (the biggest single musical influence of my life) was getting into electronic music (a la chemical bros.). At first I was sceptical to say the least.. (having only heard shitty club music up until this point in my life) But I eventually got into it.. Then I started spinning trip hop(elixer/portishead), and I finally moved into drum'n bass(Icarus/Dj ss)I stopped spinning after a while because I was finding it hard to find music that I enjoyed, beats that I had, I found simple and uninteresting.. I started making music.. I had no idea what I was doing.. I just bought an mc-303, and a sampler.. At first I learned how to program it from a couple of my friends in the party community, they were into house.. And that's what I learned first house'n trance.. Those first few months are a blur of 4 to the floor, bass pounding madness.. I then got into aphex twin(i care 'cause u do)and I started doing music like that, then one day nathan came over with a strange little record in a blue case(hard normal daddy) by some artist named "squarepusher".. It blew my mind away.. Shortly thereafter I started doing drill.. I got into Clifford Gilberto a little while later, and mu-ziq... Lately I've been getting into a lot of old jazz..(parker, pepper, baker..etc..) that's about it..
